A friendly reminder that our March Evergreen Chrysanthemum will be held this Saturday, March 9, 2024 at 10 am at Volunteer Park Conservatory.
We had a good turn out at the February outing university and took about 600 cuttings. Thank you to everyone that participated.
SOME IMPORTANT REMINDERS:
If you have not yet done so, Please pay your annual ECA dues.
ECA Single Membership -$15.00 ECA Household membership $20.00
We recently learned that the Clover URL link that has been included in our monthly newsletter as a way to pay our membership is no longer supported. We are actively working on a solution.
For the time being we now have two ways to pay membership dues:
- a) send a check made out to Evergreen Chrysanthemum Association c/o Erika Harris PO Box 66155 Burien, WA 98166
- b) bring your cash or a check to the monthly meeting
If you joined our club at the 2023 ECA Fall Chrysanthemum show or after your dues are good through December 2024
ECA Membership Survey
Our continuing legacy hinges on the interest and curiosity of our members in growing chrysanthemums as well as in the camaraderie of the Club. The challenge for present and future ECA leadership is to keep ECA alive and flourishing. With this in mind we’d like to hear your thoughts and opinions. Plant starts will be available exclusively to ECA members at our March and April meetings
Active (attended at least 2 meetings in the past 12 months or participated in the 2023 ECA show or 2023 public plant sale) ECA club members can purchase plant starts at $2.00 per start.
ECA members who have attended less than 2 meetings in the past year can purchase plant starts at $4 each or 3 starts for $10
Please plan to leave public plant sale starts at the conservatory at our April 13th meeting.
Friday April 19th – 9 am – 2 pm – set up for Public Plant Sale – Volunteer Park Conservatory – Lower Greenhouse
Saturday April 20th – 9 am – 3 pm – Public Plant Sale – Volunteer Park Conservatory – Lower Greenhouse
The plants starts will sell to the general public for $4.00 each or 3 starts for $10
