Spider Blooms (UK Classification – 10a; US Classification -11)
These chrysanthemums have petals that are long and thin and look a lot like spider legs. Even though they’re long and tubular, the petals often go off in all different directions, looking lacy and elegant. Spider blooms can also have petals that hook or coil at the tips. Depending upon the varietal and number of laterals on the plant, Spider blooms can get up to 8 inches in diameter. the plants can grow between 4 and 6 feet tall.
