Hello,
I am a cultural arts coordinator at the Japanese Cultural and Community Center of Washington. We are a non-profit organization promoting Japanese culture, and we are going to host annual Bunka no Hi(Culture Day) event on Sunday, November 3 in our buildings located 1414 S. Weller St. Seattle. This free event is open for the public and all about Japanese culture including martial arts, taiko drums, cultural workshops and many more.
I was wondering if we could have a chrysanthemum show in our yard this year, and it would be great if some of your members could bring theirs there because the chrysanthemum has been always loved by Japanese people as much as the cherry and it is used as the imperial seal.
Please let me know if this would be possible. And if it is possible, please include information on the cost and necessary set-up. Thank you very much.

Several years ago I lost my favorite Chrysanthemum–Jan Wardle. I have tried to find a source to replace it. I found a source in England, but they can’t ship Chrysanthemums to the U.S. Do you know of a source where I could purchase a replacement. Thanks so much. Larry Falxa

There was a club in Edmonds, Washington called the Fun With Mums club. Does anyone have any information if the club is still active? If they have disbanded when did they cease to exist? Thanks for any information you may have. Paul Poppe Edmonds Community College

Hello Evergreen Chrysanthemum members .
I am the Classification Chair of the National Chrysanthemum Society. We are looking to possibly work on getting a list of all the cultivars that your membership is growing in your club. Recent changes in the rules about which cultivars that can be entered in approved NCS shows will take effect in 2016. We are hoping since the NCS show will be held in Sacramento, Ca. this fall that some members might bring blooms to the show. The list will help us to insure that your cultivars are in the NCS classification handbook, and eligible to be entered. If you can direct me to a contact person for more information. I would be very appreciative.
Sincerely
Jeff MacDonald
Classification Chair NCS.

We have lost the purple cultivar “Maiko” which we grow into cascades. Is there a source where I can obtain cuttings?
I have the current “Kings” catalog. Do you know of other sources for mum cuttings?
Thanks for your help!

I still grow ‘Maiko’. Let me check and see if it’s still out there, but I believe it is. Send your contact info.

Hello
I have a lot of clay pots from small to large and other dirt additives used in growing mums to give away. They belonged to my father who was in your group before passing away. I can be reached at 206-935-7121 or on my cell at 425-417-5917 . Thanks for any help you can give me… Bruce K.

Hello!
I missed your plant sale at Furney’s last year and was sorry I missed it. Do you have any dates yet for this year? (2017) I plan on being there!
Thank you!

Hello there,
I’d like to know when your next chrysanthemum sale would be? I’m also interested in trading cultivars if that is something you might be interested with. We have about 150 different cultivars in our collection and would like to have more for our annual show in November.
Thanks,
Mandi Atkinson
